Ahead of the Strathfield by-election on Saturday (February 12), we and the Nature Conservation Council of NSW (NCC) are co-hosting an online candidate forum on Monday, February 7, from 6:30-7:30 pm.
This event will give candidates who are contesting the seat the opportunity to connect with voters and communicate their position on major environmental issues facing the community – particularly climate change.
There will also be a Q&A where everyone attending will have the opportunity to ask further questions of the candidates. The president of Climate Action Burwood/Canada Bay will be chairing the forum.
We urge as many of you as possible to attend, to demonstrate the importance of climate change as an issue in the Strathfield electorate.
