Our next members’ and supporter’s meeting is on Tuesday, October 17, at 6.30 pm, on Zoom. Our guest speaker will be Brett Morgan, Australian Campaigns Coordinator at Market Forces. There will be time for Q+A. All members and supporters are welcome.
Market Forces is a project of Friends of the Earth. It campaigns to have banks and superannuation funds divest from fossil fuel projects.
Brett has a background that includes research, community organising and financial services. Having worked and volunteered in the climate movement for several years, he joined Market Forces in 2021, to work on its Super Fund campaign. His focus is on “driving divestment from climate-wrecking companies across the superannuation sector”.
