The First Wave: Rising Tide video screening

At the end of the hottest year in history in 2023, a Rising Tide of everyday people shut down the world’s largest coal port for 32 hours.

Watch Rising Tide’s very first short film “The First Wave”, and meet some of the Sydney-siders who attended the 2023 People’s Blockade of the world’s largest coal port in Newcastle. Join with like-minded local community members at Malvern Hill Uniting Hall, Croydon to learn how you can get involved in this diverse movement for climate defence.
