Have your say on Strathfield Council’s plans

If you live, work or study in Strathfield, here’s a chance to have input into Council’s plans.

Strathfield Council is inviting comment on its Local Strategic Planning Statement. This outlines the Council’s vision for the next 20 years when it comes to planning for development and reserving land for green space, amongst other things.

There are many ways of tackling climate change through urban planning – eg. low-energy & sustainable building design, better public transport & cycling paths, more trees … This is a rare opportunity to make that clear!

The planning statement is pretty long, but you don’t have to respond to every point. Just write to the Council saying what you want them to focus on. They have to take all public input into account.

Let Strathfield council know you want them to plan for a changing climate and reducing emissions. Click the button above or go the the URL below.
Submissions close 8 November 2019.
